Barkuma Hut

Barkuma Hut is an interactive community space. Anyone is welcome to drop in during opening hours, 9am till 3pm Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.

You might be looking for someone to have a yarn with, maybe you want to chill out and read a book or watch tv. We have a hands-on sensory room, come and imagine yourself amongst a dreamtime story or two.

Perhaps you want to meet an old friend in a safe space and share memories over a cuppa, or you could be meeting with a service provider for the first time and want a more relaxed environment.

The purpose of this space is whatever you want it to be, come take a look and tell us what you’d love to be able to do. If we can’t help you, we will find someone who can.
